Inside the Orbit Lab collab

How a Berlin sound-system crew and a hoodie brand made eight reflective pieces for 6am dance floors.

It started with a DM at 4am. Orbit Lab had been wearing our Void Hoodie behind the decks for a year, and wanted to know whether we could make something that would show up under strobe lights.

Built for the dark

The answer was 3M chrome tape — the same reflective material used on cycling jackets — stitched along every seam. Under a camera flash, the whole jacket lights up silver. In the dark, the glow-in-the-dark seam prints take over.

Eight pieces, numbered

The capsule is eight pieces: a track jacket, a hoodie, two tees, cargo pants, a cap, a tote and a co-branded runner. Every piece carries a numbered woven label, and there are only 300 of each.
